July and August feature a series of didactic conferences in which basic topics in pulmonary and critical care are reviewed.

Mondays feature morning sign-in conference at which events of the weekend are reviewed in detail by fellows and faculty. Tuesdays include seminar conferences where topics are prepared and presented by pulmonary and critical care fellows or faculty. Weekly clinical case presentations also are held each Thursday and are presented by fellows and faculty.

The last Tuesday of each month is conference with the faculty and fellows of the Jefferson pulmonary and critical care devoted to clinical case presentations with emphasis on pulmonary pathology. In addition all fellows are encouraged to attend the numerous Department of Medicine conferences including Benjamin Gouley, MD Medical Grand Rounds. Journal Club is held monthly.
