Glenn Eiger, MD
I would like to personally welcome you to Albert Einstein Medical Center’s web site and our Transitional Year Program. Our
goal is to provide outstanding well-balanced fundamental training during this very flexible one-year postgraduate program.
One of our major objectives is to provide a curriculum that emphasizes multiple clinical disciplines. In addition to the core
rotations, many electives are offered so that the year can be constructed to meet each individual’s educational needs. I will
meet with each resident in the transitional program and help design a year that will that will be educationally complete and
well balanced.
Our residency programs emphasize training in the principles and practice of evidenced-based medicine. We have the most up-to-date
information technology available at the bedside. We have a commitment to scholarly activity. We also offer away electives
at other institutions. We have an extraordinary conference series that is designed specifically for our residents.
We offer excellent clinical training experiences and educational opportunities in a warm, friendly environment. Utilize our
web site to learn more about our programs and feel free to call or e-mail us with any questions you might have. Information
on how to contact our program may be found in our application information section. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and lay the foundation for a highly successful career.
