  • Belmont Northeast offers a unique setting where mental health issues can be addressed and the recovery process supported. Located in northeast Philadelphia, BNE is a community-based program that provides quality care to adults from Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

    Services that Support Your Recovery

    • Van service available free of charge to assist with transportation to treatment
    • Lunch served free of charge
    • The incorporation of recovery model principles into a structured clinical setting 

    Physicians and Staff

    The Belmont Northeast treatment team is headed by physicians who are board certified in psychiatry. Other members of the team include a licensed psychologist, licensed social workers, case managers, nurses, recreation therapist, music therapist and a horticulture therapist.

    Five levels of care available to address the unique needs of our patients

    • Acute Partial Hospital - Designed as a step down in care from an inpatient hospitalization or as a step up in care from an outpatient setting. Appropriate for patients who are able to benefit from a cognitively based program. Insurances accepted include but are not limited to: Medicaid, Aetna, Personal Choice, Bravo, Keystone Health Plan East and Mental Health Consultants.
    • Intensive Outpatient Groups - This program is two groups daily, three days a week. Provides an option for patients needing more than individual therapy but not requiring an acute partial program. Most commercial insurances are accepted.
    • Sub acute Partial - A program with a typically longer length of stay that provides ongoing structure and support. This program combines cognitively based groups along with activity based groups in a manner to meet the patient’s needs. This level of care is available for patients with Medicaid.
    • Outpatient - Individual psychotherapy with licensed clinicians in a traditional outpatient setting. Psychiatrist consultation available in conjunction with psychotherapy services as indicated. Most commercial insurances accepted.
