Better Aftercare through Family and Community Involvement

We are strongly committed to preparing the entire family for discharge and follow-up care. We do this by maintaining family involvement and therapy throughout treatment.

To ensure greater aftercare success, Einstein reaches out to the community to develop behavioral goals and discharge plans with the patient in mind. We work in conjunction with institutions including:

    • Schools
    • Outpatient treatment centers and therapists
    • Community agencies and organizations

Einstein's outpatient child psychologists and other specialists help treat a range of problems for patients, age 5- to 17 years-old.

Outpatient therapies and services for children and adolescents are the same as for adults, including:

    • Psychological evaluation and assessment
    • Psychological testing
    • Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT)
    • Medication management

Einstein's Children and Adolescents Outpatient Unit specializes in:
