    Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia provides both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care to children, adolescents, adults and older adults.

    The Inpatient Psychiatry Center at the Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia provides treatment to adults and geriatric patients. An acute psychiatric unit is uniquely equipped to care for patients requiring intensive treatment including those diagnosed with schizophrenia and/or mood disorders. Psychological and neuropsychological testing services are also provided as needed.

    There is also a dedicated inpatient unit for geriatric patients. The unit is treats patients with varying degrees of medical illness and is similar to a psychiatric/medical care unit. Most patients are co-managed by internists and psychiatrists because of the complexity of mixed medical and psychiatric diagnoses.

    Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is available to Inpatient Services.

    The Outpatient Psychiatry Center at the Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia provides therapy for a wide range of problems including depression bi-polar disorder, anxiety disorders, marital and family issues and behavioral problems. Medication management is also available. Patients as young as five are treated, as well as adolescents, adults and elderly.

    Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Valet parking service is available at the door for $2.50.
