AnnMarie Papa, DNP, RN, CEN, NE-BC, FAEN, FAAN, has been appointed Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.
In her role, Papa will have responsibility for directing the personnel, operations and financial activities for nursing services and the interventional platform at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.
Papa joins Einstein Medical Center Montgomery from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she held multiple nursing leadership positions over the last four years. Most recently, she served as the Clinical Director for Emergency, Observation and Medical Nursing.
With over 35 years of experience, Papa has a proven track record of successful teambuilding, innovative problem-solving and leadership development. She has a strong background in organizational development, and has consistently led teams to enhance quality outcomes and foster inter-professional collaboration. Papa has presented regionally, nationally and internationally on many topics, including emergency nursing, leadership, mentoring, and others. She has been recognized for her exemplary leadership with local, state and national awards, including the National Emergency Nurses Association Judy Kelleher Founder’s Award and the Health Leaders Media Top 20.
Papa holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Villanova University and a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice from Waynesburg University in Pittsburgh. Papa is a Fellow in both the American Academy of Nursing and the Academy of Emergency Nursing.
