Einstein Medical Center Montgomery officially opens tomorrow – September 29, 2012.
#1 - Transport of existing patients at Montgomery Hospital Medical Center to Einstein Medical Center Montgomery will begin at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29.

#3 - Destination Einstein! our community open house was attended by more than 12,000 people – making the event a complete success.
#4 - Thanks to the generosity of the Abramson and Wolfson Families, Einstein Montgomery’s Emergency Department will be known as the Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Family Emergency Department at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.
#5 - Einstein Medical Center Montgomery will feature 1,200 parking spaces – and yes, as we said before, they’re all free!
#6 - Today at Destination Einstein! you have the opportunity to meet some of our expert specialists that will be practicing at Einstein Montgomery and at our nearby outpatient centers.
#7 - Bring the kids to Destination Einstein! Chica and Kelly from The Sunny Side up Show on Sprout will be performing and conducting meet and greets throughout the day.

#11 - Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia was the first in the area to open a Comprehensive Liver Cancer Program, offering one day evaluations by a multidisciplinary team.

#13 - The shades in the atrium at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery are controlled by an astronomical clock that tracks the sun's movement and adjusts the shades accordingly.

#25 – In 2010, the Marion-Louise Saltzman Women’s Center at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia was the first hospital in the region to offer SonoCine, a new computerized three-dimensional ultrasound breast exam.
#26 – For the 19th year, MossRehab appeared in U.S.News & World Report’s rankings in the 2012 survey of “America’s Best Hospitals.” MossRehab ranked #9 on the list of top rehabilitation hospitals in the country and #1 in Pennsylvania.
#27 – Einstein’s Medication REACH (Reconciliation, Education, Access, Counseling, Healthy Patient at Home) Program, earned an Achievement award in the Patient Care category from The Hospital and Healthsystem Association.
#28 – Einstein Medical Center Montgomery will feature the da Vinci Surgical System, providing minimally invasive robotic surgery.
#29 – The LED surgical lights in the operating rooms at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery give off no heat and help provide an optimum environment for surgeons.
#30 – The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery was designed with rubber floors to muffle and minimize sound since newborns are extremely sensitive to sound.
#31 – The Emergency Department patient bays are comprised of a three-wall design providing patients and caregivers visual and acoustic privacy.
#32 – The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery offers a separate room on the unit where parents can stay overnight with their newborn up to several days prior to the baby being discharged. The aim is to ease the transition and help parents get accustomed to being home with their baby.
#33 – Each patient room at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery includes a small window in the corridor, allowing doors to be closed at night to minimize noise while allowing nurses to check on patients.
