The Department of Parks and Recreation, the owner and operator of the Blue Cross Broad Street Run, is implementing a new health and wellness initiative within its after school programs to “keep our kids moving and healthy.” The program kicks off with an exercise and healthy snack initiative for the 2014-2015 academic year, in nearly 100 recreation centers throughout the city.
The enhanced corporate sponsorship program for the Blue Cross Broad Street Run will help provide revenue to fund this program. Einstein Healthcare Network is the official healthcare network of the Blue Cross Broad Street Run.
