Collegeville residents will have convenient access to high-quality medical care when Einstein Healthcare Network opens an outpatient care center in the Providence Town Center today, February 3. The center is not just for simple sniffles or flu shots, although primary care treatment will be available. Other medical services to be provided by Einstein physicians include pain management, orthopedics, hepatology for advanced liver disease, nephrology for kidney disease, endocrinology, rheumatology, cardiology and integrative medicine, which combines traditional treatment with alternative methods such as massage and acupuncture.The center will also have an outpatient laboratory, a radiology department for x-rays and other scans, and a branch of MossRehab, ranked among the top 10 rehabilitation facilities in the country and first in Pennsylvania.“Einstein is committed to making excellent medical care readily accessible to our neighbors across Montgomery County,” said Beth Duffy, Chief Operating Officer of Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. “Patients will have the convenience of being treated in their neighborhood without sacrificing the depth and breadth of the expertise of an outstanding major medical center.”The Providence Town Center is located at 100 Market St., at the interchange of Routes 422 and 29.
