Einstein Medical Center Montgomery—the latest addition to Einstein Healthcare Network opening this September in East Norriton—and the Montgomery County Division of Parks and Heritage Services will host three Free Family Movie Nights at the Norristown Farm Park, located at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Barley Sheaf Drive in East Norriton Township.
The Free Family Movie Nights, scheduled for Saturday, July 28, Saturday, August 11, and Thursday, August 16, will offer free popcorn to all attendees and a complimentary blanket to each of the first 100 families. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
"We are thrilled to be a part of the community and welcome the opportunity to partner with the Montgomery County Division of Parks and Heritage Services to bring entertainment to the residents of Montgomery County,” said Beth Duffy, Chief Operating Officer of Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. “We look forward to, and hope to build upon,this relationship in the months and years to come.”
The movies selected for the Free Family Movie Nights (listed below) were the result of online voting, promoted through Einstein’s social media, giving the community a choice between 10 family-friendly films.
The MuppetsSaturday, July 28 at 8:30 pm:(rain date Sunday, July 29)
The Adventures of TintinSaturday, August 11 at 8:30 pm:(rain date Sunday, August 12)
Dr. Seuss’ The LoraxThursday, August 16 at 8:15 pm:(rain date Friday, August 17)
The movies will be show at the Farm Park’s Pavilion. Attendees should use Norristown Farm Park’s main entrance, located at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Barley Sheaf Drive in East Norriton Township. Please enter through the wooden gate and follow the signs to the Pavilion.
