Einstein Medical Center Montgomery has been named one of the five Most Beautiful Hospitals in the United States by Soliant Health, one of the largest healthcare staffing companies in the country.Cited for "room-to-room beauty complemented by a five-story, all-glass atrium," Einstein Montgomery received nearly 7,000 votes, placing the hospital at number five on the list of 20. The competition was based on more than 100,000 votes nationwide."While the Soliant award recognizes Einstein Montgomery's esthetic beauty, we believe what truly sets us apart is the combination of a beautiful healing environment along with our dedicated employees and medical staff who are committed to providing quality patient care," said Beth Duffy, chief operating officer for Einstein Medical Center Montgomery.This was the fifth annual Most Beautiful Hospital competition and this year more than 300 hospitals from across the country competed.Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in East Norriton, Pa., is the newest member of Einstein Healthcare Network. Opened in September 2012, it is the first new hospital built in southeastern Pennsylvania in more than a decade. A full range of advanced medical and surgical care is offered, including open heart surgery, catheterization and electrophysiology labs, breast cancer care, obstetrics/gynecology, diagnostic testing services and 24-hour emergency care. It is a patient- and family-centered medical center featuring all private rooms, unlimited visiting hours, room service and free valet parking. There are 96 medical/surgical beds, 22-bed critical care unit, 20-bed antepartum/postpartum unit and the eight-bed Arthur and Lea Powell Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with a Level III designation, the only one in the area.
