Mr. Bishop will cover the following topics:
    • Overcoming fears surrounding diabetes
    • Achieving good glucose control
    • Learning effective self-management
    • Developing a balanced, healthy lifestyle
    • Finding resources for diabetes support

Mr. Bishop is a member of the A1C Champions® Program, supported by Sanofi, which is a patient-led approach to diabetes education. The program is intended for people struggling with diabetes or who have an A1C that is 7% or above, or have a loved one with an A1C of 7% or above. The A1C test is a blood test that measures average blood glucose levels over the past two to three month period. The test is used to diagnose type 1 and type 2 diabetes and can determine how well a person is managing their diabetes.
