Julie Gubernick, MD, FACR, has been appointed Chief of the Department of Radiology at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. She is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Gubernick earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, where she served as chief resident.
Prior to joining Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, Dr. Gubernick served as a staff radiologist at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Muhlenberg Hospital in Allentown. In 2008, she was appointed Section Chief of Chest Radiology, Department of Radiology at Lehigh Valley Health Network and also served as Undergraduate Education Director, Department of Radiology at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
She succeeds John Devenney, MD, who served as Chief of Radiology at Montgomery Hospital Medical Center for the past 32 years. Dr. Devenney continues to serve part-time as a staff radiologist.
Dr. Gubernick is a Fellow and a Councilor of the American College of Radiology, Vice President of the Pennsylvania Radiological Society, and is also a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Society of Computed Body Tomography and Magnetic Resonance.
