  • Kevin O’Leary Appointed Vice President, Strategic Planning & Business Development at Einstein Healthcare Network

     Kevin O’Leary has been appointed Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Einstein Healthcare Network. In this role, O’Leary will oversee Einstein’s strategic planning and business development functions, focusing on the identification of new growth opportunities at Einstein’s many facilities throughout the region, as well as the continued creation of effective, long-range strategic plans.

    He will work closely with Einstein’s clinical, research, academic and administrative leadership, providing support for the development and implementation of new programs and services, as well as the assessment of existing ones to help ensure that Einstein is positioned for success in the new era of healthcare reform and accountable care.

    “Kevin’s proven track record of creating innovative and successful business initiatives, along with his expertise in the development of comprehensive and forward-looking strategic plans will make him a tremendous asset to our organization,” said John Finger, Chief Administrative Officer for Einstein Healthcare Network.

    O’Leary has more than 15 years of experience in strategic planning development and business development planning in a variety of healthcare settings. He was with Virtua Health for 10 years prior to joining Einstein, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President, Planning and Strategic Development, where he collaborated with senior leaders to develop corporate, divisional and service-line strategies. He managed planning teams that focused on all phases of business development, from idea creation through implementation.

    Before his tenure at Virtua, O’Leary served as a senior consultant at the Katz Consulting Group in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., providing strategy development, market analysis, financial modeling, physician recruitment and other services to numerous healthcare providers across the nation.

    He earned a Master of Health Services Administration from The George Washington University, School of Public Health and Health Services, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College, Carroll School of Management. In addition, he earned a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from the University of Michigan, College of Engineering, Ann Arbor, MI.
