Over her 50-year-long career as a volunteer, Rose Feldsher provided updates to the families and friends in Einstein’s Surgical Waiting Area letting them know how their loved ones were doing who were undergoing surgery. In addition to providing information, Rose also looked after those in the waiting area by bringing them coffee. This gesture went a long way in helping to lower stress levels and help pass the time. As a tribute to Rose who retired last year at age 90, a coffee station in the Surgical Waiting Area in the Tower Building was named in her honor with a wall plaque thanking her for her dedication and loving service to patients, families and staff. Rose was joined at the dedication by Einstein leaders and staff and family members.
