A spiritual and historic ceremony recently took place with the installation of a mezuzah at the main entrance of MossRehab and Einstein Medical Center Elkins Park. Rabbi Seymour Rosenbloom from Congregation Adath Jeshurun, presided over the installation which was attended by hospital officials, members of MossRehab’s Advisory Board, members of the Auxiliary of Einstein Healthcare Network, Joy Stember, the local artist who designed and created the mezuzah, and by Steven Berk, Chairman of Einstein’s Board of Trustees. The mezuzah, affixed to the brick wall at a height that enables a person in a wheelchair to easily reach it, was commissioned by the Auxiliary Board of MossRehab. It is handcrafted with pewter, silver and brass.
