Einstein Healthcare Network recently celebrated the dedication of the Minerva D. Braemer Medical Arts Building located on the campus of Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. The Minerva D. Braemer Medical Arts Building is home to a variety of medical specialty offices, including cancer treatment, cardiology and pain management.During the dedication ceremony in the building’s main lobby, Barry R. Freedman, President and Chief Executive Officer for Einstein Healthcare Network, honored Fred Braemer (man seated) and his late wife Minerva, whom the building is named after and whose portrait is on display, for their five decades of commitment to Einstein. Fred Braemer, a former Chairman of Einstein’s Board of Directors, was joined at the ceremony by his son Richard (third from left), also a former Chairman of the Board, and by other family members, including: (from left): Kate Braemer, Jeffrey Braemer, Liz Braemer, and David Braemer. The Braemer family is well-known throughout Einstein Network, especially at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia where the Minerva and Fred Braemer Heart Center, closely identified with quality and compassionate heart care is housed, as well as the Minerva and Fred Braemer Building, home to the network’s Development Department and Education Center. Through their generosity and vision for better healthcare, Fred Braemer and his late wife Minerva, have touched and improved the lives of thousands of patients and their families.
