  • MossRehab Recognized as Top Workplace by Philadelphia Inquirer/Daily News Third Year Straight

    Published: 03/18/2013

MossRehab, part of the Einstein Healthcare Network and a U.S. News & World Report top-ten “Best Hospital for Rehabilitation” was just recognized by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and as one of the Greater Philadelphia Area’s “Top Workplaces” for the third year in a row.

What makes the recognition special is that workers/staff nominate their organization and then fill out a survey expressing how they feel about where they work, responding with statements such as “ I get a sense of making a difference in what I do," "It (job) is interesting and I feel very proud of the company that I represent and the wonderful things that it does," and "Everyone is friendly and easy to work with. I always see people going above and beyond what is expected of them. I am very proud to work for MossRehab."

“Although honored for MossRehab to be a ‘Top Workplace’ for the third year in a row, I’m not surprised,” said Ruth Lefton, Chief Operating Officer, MossRehab. "Our employees take great pride in their individual talents, and in the talents of their colleagues, allowing for smart, creative collaborations that always have the patients' care in mind. That pride in each other, that's what makes MossRehab a place where people want to work, and where people want to come for rehab services."

“I am thrilled by this recognition,” said Alberto Esquenazi, MD, MossRehab’s Chief Medical Officer and President of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. “Working in healthcare can be very stressful and our employees clearly do incredible work that returns patients to their highest level of care with a sense of satisfaction and pleasure. MossRehab recognition as the top healthcare employer is a great privilege.”
