  • MossRehab Recognized as Top Workplace by Philadelphia Inquirer/Daily News

    Published: 03/19/2012

Good products come from happy employees. MossRehab has both, and the accolades to prove it.

Already a current U.S.News & World Report top-ten “Best Hospital for Rehabilitation”, the renowned physical and cognitive rehabilitation provider in the Einstein Healthcare Network was just recognized by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News and as one of the Greater Philadelphia Area’s “Top Workplaces” for the second year in a row.

What makes the recognition special is that workers/staff nominate their organization and then fill out a survey expressing how they feel about where they work, responding to statements such as "There is not a lot of frustration at my workplace," "New ideas are encouraged at this organization," and "My pay is fair for the work I do."

“Although honored for MossRehab to be a ‘Top Workplace’ for the second year in a row, I’m not surprised,” said Ruth Lefton, Chief Operating Officer, MossRehab. "Our employees take great pride in their individual talents, and in the talents of their colleagues, allowing for smart, creative collaborations that always have the patients' care in mind. That pride in each other, that's what makes MossRehab a place where people want to work, and where people want to come for rehab services."

“To be recognized as a “Top Workplace” is wonderful,” said Barry Freedman, President and CEO, Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. “But what I’m most proud of is that our employees at MossRehab think enough about their work environment and their colleagues to have taken the initiative to nominate themselves in the first place. That speaks volumes.”
