    Einstein Medical Center Montgomery welcomes first baby

    Einstein Healthcare Network announces the first ever birth at the organization's newest addition - Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. Opening Saturday, the first birth occurred just nine hours after the doors opened to the public.

    Jennifer and Brad Autry of Norristown are proud parents of a baby girl Ann Autry. Baby Autry was born at 3:22 p.m. at 7 lbs., 7 oz., 20 inches.

    Montgomery Hospital Medical Center also welcomed the last baby in the hospital's storied history. Diarra Mayo and John Starks of Norristown are proud parents of a baby boy Quadire John Starks. Baby Starks was born at 6:26 a.m. at 7 lbs., 4 oz., 19 inches.

    The baby and mother were transported via ambulance to Einstein Montgomery shortly following the birth.

    The two babies were born less than nine hours apart and represent a unique crossroads for Montgomery Hospital and Einstein Montgomery.
