Making Room for Your Growing Family

Einstein's regional department of obstetrics and gynecology is led by division chairs Dr. David Jaspan and Dr. Arnold Cohen, named a Top Doc by Philadelphia magazine. With locations in Philadelphia and Montgomery counties, the team provides a range of services including obstetric care, high-risk pregnancy care, gynecologic services, family planning, preconception counseling, wellness for women, menopausal care and urogynecologic care.
We couldn't be more proud of the deluxe maternity accommodations at our brand new hospital, Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, the new medical destination for central Montgomery County.
Top technologies at both locations ensure you will be able to take advantage of the best tools available to assist your pregnancy and delivery.
- Fetal echocardiography to evaluate the baby’s potential heart problems
- PeriCalm Obstetrical Monitoring continuously tracks heart rate and contractions during labor
- Non-stress and biophysical profile testing to determine the baby’s breathing, movement, muscle tone, heart rate and amniotic fluid
- Genetic counseling to determine the likelihood of passing down genetic disorders like down syndrome, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell disease, Tay-Sachs disease, or spina bifida
- Sophisticated electronic medical record (EMR) for scheduling appointments and checking-in/checking-out for built-in patient safety
- Level 3 NICU
- 3-D ultrasound when medically necessary
