Hand, Wrist, Shoulder & Elbow

  • Pain in the upper extremities often involves more than one joint. Led by a Top Doc, Einstein offers a comprehensive orthopedics approach, with surgeons specializing in all joints of the upper body.

Our patients have the benefit of access to an entire healthcare system, including MossRehab, the region’s only top 10 facility as rated by U.S. News & World Report.

From the spine to the finger tips. As part of your treatment plan, you will receive an extensive evaluation that examines joints from the neck to the finger tips. Our goal is to return you to activity as soon as possible. After surgery, your surgeon will work with a physical therapist to develop a recovery plan. In most cases, you can return home the day of your surgery.

    Advanced Techniques

Minimally invasive surgery. We are trained in techniques of small incision surgery, including wrist fracture fixation.

Joint replacement. We offer total and hemi-joint replacement for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist Arthroscopy. Minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat joint problems through small incisions in the skin.

Tissue transplantation and replantation. The reattachment of a part of the hand or arm.

Heterotopic ossification treatment. We have deep experience treating patients with bone formation that locks up joints, a condition found in patients who have experienced trauma, including serious brain injury and stroke.

Non-operative care for patients who don't require surgery.

    We specialize in treating:

    Carpal tunnel syndrome
    Trigger finger
