Your privacy is important to us.
We know that our patients care about how their personal information is used . . . and how it is shared with others.
On April 14, 2003, a new federal law takes effect that reinforces the importance of patient confidentiality. These new privacy
regulations are part of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act – or HIPAA. This act “puts into law” the respect
for patient privacy and code of ethics that Einstein and its healthcare providers already practice.
In this section, you will find information and materials related to patient privacy.
