The Department of Pediatrics takes pride in providing high-quality medical care to the children and families within our community
and in offering its residents a rich array of educational opportunities ranging from office practices to critical care units.
While caring for and learning about children from the smallest newborn to the mature adolescent, residents receive balanced
and comprehensive training in primary, subspecialty and critical care pediatrics.
A highly skilled, experienced, and congenial faculty guides residents through a broad educational experience as the residents
play a vital role in the care of more than 2,000 inpatients, 3,000 newborns and 20,000 outpatients each year.
