Richard H. Greenberg, MD President
Richard Greenberg, MD, is Chair of the Division of GI Surgery at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and Assistant Professor of Surgery for Jefferson Medical College. He Serves as Director of Outpatient Surgical Services at Einstein Medical Center and as a member of the Trauma Surgery team. Dr. Greenberg leads Einstein’s successful Weight Loss Surgery Program, which he created several years ago. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College; and underwent his general surgery internship at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and his residency training at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia. Immediately following his residency, Dr. Greenberg completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Ferguson Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Greenberg has been instrumental in creating a structured education program for our residents and medical students and has served as the President of the Medical Staff Board since 2003, after having held secretary and vice president positions on the board, and chairing several committees and subcommittees of the board. Richard L. Allman, MD Vice President
Richard Allman, MD, is Chairman of the Division of Rheumatology. He is Chairman of the MossRehab Ethics Committee and a member of the Einstein Institutional Ethics Committee. Dr. Allman is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College and the Allentown Hospital (now Lehigh Valley Affiliated Program) Internal Medicine Residency Program. He completed a rheumatology fellowship at Boston University Hospital and his rheumatology fellowship at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Allman is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Jefferson Medical College and Affiliate Scholar, Center for Clinical Bioethics, Georgetown University School of Medicine. David M Jaspan, DO Treasurer
Dr. Jaspan is a three time recipient of the American Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence in Teaching Award; his most recent award was for the 2004-2005 academic year. He also was selected into the prestigious Solvay Scholars Program by APGO in 2003.
Dr. Jaspan is board certified in obstetrics/gynecology with a special interest in adolescent medicine, incontinence, infertility, menopausal issues, nutrition, osteoporosis, premenstrual syndrome, sexually transmitted diseases, sexual dysfunction and urogynecology. He has special expertise in performing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
