Network Benefits

Albert Einstein Healthcare Network offers generous, flexible benefits to give employees the support they need.

With three Preferred Provider Organization plans to choose from and two HMOs, employees can select basic or expanded coverage based on their needs. Through JeffPlus, all health plans offer additional cost savings when you receive healthcare within the Jefferson Health System. Employees who have other medical coverage may choose to waive coverage and receive cash in lieu of medical benefits. Medical plans include:

  • JeffPlus Personal Choice PPO (Expanded or Basic)
  • JeffPlus Aetna US Healthcare PPO
  • JeffPlus Keystone HMO
  • JeffPlus Aetna US Healthcare HMO

Prescription Plan
Reasonable and competitive co-pay on retail prescriptions, including generic, brand formulary and brand non-formulary drugs. Extra savings on mail order prescription drugs.

Dental Coverage
Choose coverage from Delta or Prudential DMO. Employees who have other dental coverage may choose to waive coverage and receive cash in lieu of dental benefits.

Vision Plan
This voluntary program though Vision Benefits of America allows 100 percent coverage for exams and lenses when you use a Network provider.

Life Insurance/Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Group term life insurance is provided for all full-time, benefits-eligible employees. You can purchase additional term life insurance from Prudential for you, your spouse, domestic partner or children through payroll deduction.

Long-Term Disability
Continuing until retirement or recovery, this benefit pays 60 percent of base salary, with a maximum benefit of $6,000 per month for non-work related illnesses or injuries.

Short Term Disability
Purchase Short Term Disability benefits from Allstate through payroll deduction. This voluntary benefit provides replacement income for up to 90 days if you are sick and have used your available accrued sick time.

Healthcare/Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts
Lower your tax burden. Use a reimbursement account to set aside pre-tax dollars for out-of-pocket medical costs. Or set up an account for expenses related to childcare or care of a dependent adult.

Qualified Pension Plan
Our pension plan is a defined benefit plan that offers 100 percent vesting after five years of service.

Tax Deferred Annuity
On a pre-tax basis, save up to the maximum amount allowable and invest through Fidelity, Valic, Prudential or Equitable. Employer match of 20 percent up to four percent of your annual salary, capped at $50,000.

Group Legal Plan
This voluntary benefit provides such legal services as telephone consulting, will preparation, contract review and more for a low monthly fee paid through payroll deduction.

Carebridge
A valuable resource and referral service, Carebridge addresses such issues as childcare and eldercare resources, personal financial management, parenting, school options for your children, relocation, college planning, time and stress management, adoption guidance and more.

FirstCALL
This Employee Assistance Program provides you and your family with free, confidential consultation. Professional counselors can help you deal with such concerns as job pressures, family and relationship worries, parenting issues, death of a loved one, financial or legal troubles, drug or alcohol problems or other concerns.

Credit Union
Loans, savings and checking accounts, holiday and vacation clubs and more are available through Freedom Credit Union.

Direct Deposit
Have your biweekly paycheck automatically deposited to your checking or savings account.

Paid Time Off
Sick leave, 12 days per year; vacation 10 to 20 days per year, depending on position and length of service; holidays, 11 days per year (five personal, six legal).

Professional Growth
Take advantage of our tuition assistance plan for undergraduate and graduate programs as well as onsite college education and accelerated programs.

Pre-Tax Transportation Benefits
You can purchase Transit Checks or pay for secure parking at an Einstein facility on a pre-tax basis.

This summary of benefits applies to employees who regularly work 64 to 80 hours biweekly. Eligible employees and their family members can take advantage of the many benefits listed here.
