Founded in 1992, Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute serves as the central point for all research activities at MossRehab.

The mission of Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute is to:

  • Foster theoretically motivated rehabilitation research focused on issues relevant to human function;
  • Stimulate operations research with the objectives of improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care;
  • Improve the quality of patient care by integrating research into ongoing clinical activities and involving treatment staff in clinical research; and
  • Establish education and training programs that foster the philosophy and methods of effective rehabilitation research.
