Richard H. Greenberg, MD
President
Richard Greenberg, MD, is Chair of the Division of GI Surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center and Assistant Professor of
Surgery for Jefferson Medical College. He Serves as Director of Outpatient Surgical Services at Einstein Medical Center and
as a member of the Trauma Surgery team. Dr. Greenberg leads Einstein’s successful Weight Loss Surgery Program, which he created
several years ago. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College; and underwent his general surgery internship
at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and his residency training at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Immediately following his
residency, Dr. Greenberg completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Ferguson Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. In addition
to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Greenberg has been instrumental in creating a structured education program for our residents
and medical students and has served as the President of the Medical Staff Board since 2003, after having held secretary and
vice president positions on the board, and chairing several committees and subcommittees of the board.

Richard L. Allman, MD
Vice President
Richard Allman, MD, is Chairman of the Division of Rheumatology. He is Chairman of the MossRehab Ethics Committee and a member
of the Einstein Institutional Ethics Committee. Dr. Allman is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College and the Allentown Hospital
(now Lehigh Valley Affiliated Program) Internal Medicine Residency Program. He completed a rheumatology fellowship at Boston
University Hospital and his rheumatology fellowship at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Allman is board certified in internal
medicine and rheumatology. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Jefferson Medical College and Affiliate Scholar, Center
for Clinical Bioethics, Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Allman is a fellow of the American College of Physicians
and the recipient of a 1998 Faculty Council Teaching Award.

John J. Kelly, DO
Secretary
John Kelly, MD, is Associate Chairman for the Department of Emergency Medicine. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine for
Thomas Jefferson Medical College and holds faculty/teaching positions at other area medical schools including The Medical
College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann School of Medicine and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kelly serves
as a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Emergency Medicine, the Annals of Emergency Medicine and is a member of many local
and national professional societies. Dr. Kelly is a National Eagle Scout Life Member.
