Michael J. Vergare, MD
Albert Einstein Medical Center's residency program in adult psychiatry is based on a model that emphasizes clinical training
in a broad system of psychiatric care. Our residents work side by side with faculty who are respected leaders in our field.
The clinical services of the department are part of the Belmont Behavioral Health Network. This network provides more than
one-third of all behavioral health patient services to the Philadelphia region.
Through regular rotations and electives our residents are exposed to a full range of patient populations ranging from children
and adolescents to older adults, and including adults, couples, families and groups.
