Albert Einstein Medical Center's Department of Psychiatry offers its residents a rich array of educational opportunities through a combination of experiences at Einstein Medical Center and Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment.

In addition, our educational framework builds on the understanding that a person is a composite of mind, brain, body and environment and our treatment programs are oriented to this biopsychosocial perspective.

Residents can count on personal attention and guidance from the Department of Psychiatry's more than 50 full-time salaried faculty members. Graduates of our program are fully prepared for the broad spectrum of psychiatric practice in both the contemporary hospital and private practice settings.
