Terence A.S. Matalon, MD, FACR, FSIR
Chairman, Department of Radiology
Dr. Matalon is the Chairman of the Department of Radiology. He graduated from Boston University School of Medicine, and completed
his internship, radiology residency, and fellowship in Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound and CT at Northwestern University
in Chicago. Dr. Matalon has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from the American
Board of Radiology. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Radiology and the Society of Interventional Radiology and is a recent national Past President of the Society of Interventional Radiology. He serves as an examiner for the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Matalon’s areas of expertise are interventional radiology, ultrasound and CT.
William Herring, MD, FACR
Vice-Chairman, Department of Radiology; Residency Program Director
Dr. Herring is the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Radiology and the Radiology Residency Program Director. He graduated
from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and served his internship and radiology residency at Albert Einstein
Medical Center in Philadelphia. He has been the Radiology Residency Program Director at Einstein for over 25 years. He has
twice been awarded the Outstanding Clinical Teacher Award of the Albert Einstein Medical Center and was the recipient of the
Philadelphia Roentgen Ray Society’s “Outstanding Educator Award” in 2004. A past President of the Albert Einstein Medical
Center Medical Staff, Dr. Herring is the immediate past-President of the Philadelphia Roentgen Ray Society. His award-winning
educational website at www.learningradiology.com will be accessed by over 500,000 visitors this year. He is the author of a medical textbook aimed at teaching the fundamentals
of radiologic interpretation entitled "Learning Radiology: Recognizing the Basics" which was released by Mosby in the Spring of 2007.

Paul S. Brady, MD
Associate Section Chief, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology
Dr. Brady is the Associate Section Chief of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. He graduated from the Royal College
of Surgeons in Ireland and completed his internship and radiology residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He completed
a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Brady’s area of expertise
is cardiovascular and interventional radiology.
Debra S. Copit, MD
Section Chief, Mammography; Director, Gershon–Cohen Breast Clinic
Dr. Copit is the Section Chief of Mammography and Director of the Gershon-Cohen Breast Clinic. She graduated from Jefferson
Medical College in Philadelphia. She served her radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and
the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Copit completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the Baylor-Komen
Breast Center in Dallas. Dr. Copit’s area of expertise is mammography.
Daniel A. Eisenberg, MD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed both his radiology residency
and his fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Eisenberg’s areas of expertise
are nuclear medicine and general diagnostic radiology.
Karen B. Fuscaldo, MD graduated from Temple University School of Medicine. She served her internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center and her
radiology residency at The Bryn Mawr Hospital. Dr. Fuscaldo completed a fellowship in ENT/neuroradiology at Thomas Jefferson
University Hospital. Her current area of expertise is breast imaging.
William B. Garfinkle, MD
Section Chief, Neuroradiology
Dr. Garfinkle is the Section Chief of Neuroradiology. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine
in Philadelphia and served his radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He has a Certificate
of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology from the American Board of Radiology. He serves as the Chair of the Einstein Healthcare Network’s Committee on Continuing Medical Education. Dr. Garfinkle’s area
of expertise is neuroradiology.
Adam R. Guttentag, MD
Director, General Radiology; Section Chief, Thoracic Radiology
Dr. Guttentag is the Director of General Radiology and the Section Chief of Thoracic Radiology. He graduated from the University
of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his radiology residency at Boston University Medical Center
and a fellowship in Thoracic Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is the Medical Advisor to the Medical
Center’s School of Radiologic Technology. Dr. Guttentag’s area of expertise is thoracic radiology.
Scott A. Haber, MD
Medical Director, Einstein Center One Radiology
Dr. Haber is the Medical Director of Einstein Center One Radiology in Northeast Philadelphia. He graduated from the State
University of New York School of Medicine at Stony Brook. He completed his radiology residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center
in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and a fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging with Special Competency in Nuclear Radiology at St. Barnabas
Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Haber’s areas of expertise are general diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine.
Mindy M. Horrow, MD, FACR, FAIUM
Section Chief, Body Imaging
Dr. Horrow is the Section Chief for Body Imaging. She graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and
did her radiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston. She is a Fellow of both the
American College of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. She serves as an examiner for the American
Board of Radiology. In 1994 and again in 2004, she was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Teacher Award at Albert Einstein Medical
Center. Dr. Horrow’s areas of expertise are ultrasound and body CT.
Cheryl L. Kirby, MD
Section Chief, Body MRI
Dr. Kirby is the Section Chief of Body MRI. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia
and completed her radiology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kirby’s areas of expertise are
ultrasound and body MRI.
Morrie Kricun, MD, FACR is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson Medical School and did his residency in Radiology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in
Philadelphia. For over 20 years, he was a member of the orthopedic radiology section at the Hospital of the University of
Pennsylvania. Dr. Kricun has authored or co-authored eight books on musculoskeletal radiology and is the recipient of an outstanding
teaching award. He has also been awarded the silver medal of The International Skeletal Society.
Shuchi K. Rodgers, MD graduated from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical
Center. During her residency, she served a year as Chief Resident and won an RSNA Resident Research Trainee Award. Dr. Rodger's
completed a body imaging fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her areas of expertise include ultrasound,
CT and MRI.
Armand A. Saragovi, MD completed his internship and radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He holds a Certificate
of Added Qualification in interventional and vascular radiology. Dr. Saragovi's areas of expertise are breast and body imaging.
Konstantin Chernukha,MD served his residency in radiology at Case Western Reserve University Affiliate Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed
a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Chernukha’s areas of expertise
are Neuroradiology and musculoskeletal MRI.
Walter J. Slizofski, MD graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. He completed his internship and radiology residency
at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee and a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Dr. Slizofski’s areas of expertise are nuclear medicine and general diagnostic radiology.
Susan L. Summerton, MD
Section Chief, Gastrointestinal Radiology; Director, Medical Student Education
Dr. Summerton is the Section Chief of Gastrointestinal Radiology. She graduated from Temple University School of Medicine.
She completed her internship at Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, and her radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical
Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Summerton is the Director of Medical Student Education for the Department. Her areas of expertise
are gastrointestinal radiology and women’s imaging.
Huyen D. Tran, MD
Director, Division of Nuclear Medicine
Dr. Tran is the Director of the Division of Nuclear Medicine. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine
in Charlottesville and completed his radiology residency at Wilmington Medical Center in Delaware. He completed a fellowship
in Nuclear Medicine at the University of California at Davis. Dr. Tran’s area of expertise is nuclear medicine.
Sumathi M. Wable, MD
Section Chief, Musculoskeletal Radiology; Director, MRI Services
Dr. Wable is the Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Radiology and the Director of MRI Services. She completed her radiology
residency and a fellowship in MRI at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Wable’s areas of expertise are
body MRI, musculoskeletal radiology and nuclear medicine.
