Graduates of Einstein Medical Center's Residency Program in General Surgery can choose careers in many areas. Seventy percent of graduating residents have entered fellowship training. The mature clinical ability of these residents has resulted in a 100 percent success rate in obtaining prestigious fellowships in the last 25 years. Several residents have subsequently entered academic surgical practice.
