Albert Einstein Medical Center's Division of Urology offers its residents a broad range of educational opportunites. With
more than 80 beds dedicated to the surgical services and 26 attending surgeons actively involved in the teaching program,
residents benefit from facilities and equipment that represent the latest advances in modern urologic Urology. More than 5,000
procedures are performed in the main operating room.
Einstein Medical Center's broad scope of services including multidisciplinary cancer programs; open heart surgery program;
kidney, liver and pancreas transplant programs; and our designation as a Level 1 Regional Trauma Center attract a large number
of patients requiring both routine and unusual tertiary care. Within this environment, residents gain invaluable experience
and master the many skills they will need to pursue careers in general urology or fellowship training.
Though residency in general Urologic is demanding, Albert Einstein Medical Center creates an environment sensitive to the
