Einstein - Top Docs 2011

Philadelphia, PA, May 5, 2011 - The abundance of clinical excellence at Einstein Healthcare Network was exemplified with 25 doctors recognized as "Top Doctors" in the May issue of Philadelphia magazine. The Einstein doctors selected this year represent a broad range of clinical areas including gastroenterology, internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, surgery, endocrinology, radiation oncology, and others.

This group, considerably larger than last year, affirms the reputation of Einstein doctors for providing superior, quality care and continues a long tradition of Einstein doctors earning this honor. Each year, Philadelphia magazine teams with Castle Connolly Medicine Ltd., a well-known healthcare research and information company, and surveys the region's physicians, asking them to identify other doctors who are highly skilled caregivers. Castle Connolly then reviews the information before the final selections are made. This year, the "Top Doctors" issue includes insights about the healthcare system from area nurses; several Einstein nurses participated in the magazine's panel discussions and one was featured.
