  • As a teenager, you are taking on many new responsibilities. One of the most important ones is managing your own health. Taking care of yourself now means you can avoid later problems including heart disease, cancer and difficulty having children.

    Whether your current health concerns are about acne or avoiding pregnancy, Einstein's teen health experts can help. Our friendly and caring healthcare team will work with you to help you make wise health decisions that can keep you healthy for the rest of your life.

    Einstein's adolescent medical specialists are located at:  

    Einstein's Teen Health Clinic, on the Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia campus, 5501 Old York Road, Philadelphia, PA.

    Einstein Neighborhood Healthcare practices located throughout the Philadelphia region. Einstein Neighborhood Healthcare is a network of primary care physicians .

    Each site offers primary care, counseling and reproductive health services.

    Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 are eligible for Einstein's free family planning program offered at the Teen Health Clinic and Germantown Women's Health Center.

    Glossary terms:
    Primary care doctors include family practice doctors, internists, pediatricians, obstetricians and gynecologists. They can take care of most of your health needs. When necessary, they can also help you get care from the appropriate medical specialists.
