I am concerned about my child's behavior

Like many adults, children and adolescents suffer from mental, emotional and behavioral problems. Today, approximately six million American adolescents are diagnosed with clinical depression. Countless others live with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, oppositional defiant behaviors, bipolar disorder and other psychotic disorders including schizophrenia.

Belmont Behavioral Health realizes that childhood and adolescence can be a very trying and difficult time. Our professional staff works with each child and his or her family to develop a personalized treatment plan. We offer a variety of programs and services and are sensitive to the unique problems our youth face in today's society.

Children and adolescent - Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder
Yelling out answers in class, never sitting still, losing homework assignments or fighting with friends - when a child seems to lack self-control, the problem may be attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADD/AHD).
