Belmont Behavioral Health
As part of Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Belmont Behavioral Health (BBH) provides a comprehensive level of health services
including psychiatric care, emergency triage and evaluation, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospital and inpatient.
We also provide Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) in an inpatient and outpatient medical setting.
Special Treatment Programs
Belmont Behavioral Health has created programs that focus on the special needs of:
· Eating disorder patients
· Mood disorder patients
· Older adults
· Children and adolescents
In addition to these programs, we treat a comprehensive range of behavioral health issues, including:
· Addictions
· Depression
· Anxiety disorders
· Schizophrenia
· Bipolar illness
· Relationship difficulties.
Teaching Facility
BBH is known for its dynamic academic teaching service, training all levels of professionals including medical students, psychiatry
residents, psychiatry fellows, physicians’ assistants, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, nurses, pharmacists, and
psychotherapists. Our staff includes Board-Certified specialists in all areas of psychiatry including Children, Adolescents,
Addictions, Adults and Older adults.
Research Facility
In addition, BBH operates a robust clinical trials medication program for those patients who meet strict pharmaceutical industry
protocols. Research studies are conducted on medications for schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar mania, depression,
