Valorie S. Haves, MD, is the Medical Director of the Crisis Response Center (CRC) at Germantown Community Health Services.
Dr. Haves has extensive experience in directing psychiatric emergency services at several area facilities since 1990. She
is board-certified in General Psychiatry and serves as a board examiner for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
as well as on its re-certification committee. Dr. Haves completed her psychiatry residency at Maimonides Medical Center in
Brooklyn, NY, and completed a fellowship in eating disorders at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Distinguished Fellow
of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry. In addition, Dr.
Haves is a liaison to the Philadelphia Police Department.
