William Shapiro, PsyD, is the Program Director, Outpatient Psychiatry Services, Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. Dr. Shapiro has a long-standing interest in the relationship between mind and body processes, specifically the connection between physical and emotional well-being. Dr. Shapiro is an expert in group work with older adults and coordinates group therapy training for psychiatric residents at Albert Einstein/Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment. He has presented on group work at the American Group Psychotherapy Association. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology, Widener University.
