Dr. Yoo completed medical school at the Medical College of Korea University and residency training at the Philadelphia Psychiatric Center (now Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment). She is board certified in general and geriatric psychiatry and her special interests include geriatric psychiatry and the Korean community mental health. She was listed as one of Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Docs in 1998 and is a Life Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association since 2005. She served as President of the Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment medical staff from 1999-2001 and has received numerous awards from the Korean community. Currently, Dr. Yoo is the Medical Director of the Older Adult Unit at Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment.
