
Gary S. Ledley, MD
Gary S. Ledley, MD, is Associate Director of the Section of Invasive, Diagnostic, and Interventional Cardiology, as well
as associate director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He is also an Associate
Professor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Ledley has lectured nationally on such topics as histologic evaluation of the effects of holmium laser coronary angioplasty
in patients and quality of life after angioplasty. He has also authored many abstracts and articles for publications such
as the
American Heart Journal and
Catheterization and Cardiovascular Diagnosis.
Dr. Ledley received his medical degree in 1982 from Georgetown University. His post-graduate training includes an internship,
residency and two fellowships in cardiology at Georgetown, as well as a fellowship in angioplasty and interventional cardiology
at Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital, in Providence, Rhode Island. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular
disease.
