
Craig Oliner, MD
Craig Oliner, MD, is currently Director of the Cardiac Care Unit in the Division of Cardiology at Albert Einstein Medical
Center, as well as Associate Professor of Medicine at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University. He is board
certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Oliner received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1980. He completed his internship and residency
in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital, which were followed by a fellowship in cardiology at the Medical College
of Virginia. After the fellowship, he held research associate positions in cardiology and clinical pharmacology at the University
of Chicago. He was also Assistant Professor of Medicine there, prior to his coming to Einstein in 1991.
He has authored a number of manuscripts and abstracts on such topics as B-blockade and mental performance, and predication
of functional recovery with I-123 phenylpemtadecanoic acid after coronary revascularization. He has also served as a reviewer
for the
Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology.
