Aman M. Amanullah, MD, PhD, FACC, is the Section Chief of Noninvasive Cardiology, and a full time faculty member of the Division
of Cardiovascular Diseases, Department of Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He is also an Associate Professor of
Medicine at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Amanullah is Board Certified by
the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Subspecialty of Cardiovascular Diseases, the Certification Board of Nuclear
Cardiology and the National Board of Echocardiography.
A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography, Dr. Amanullah is also a member of
several other professional societies, including the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology’s Practice Analysis Task Force,
the American Heart Association’s Council on Clinical Cardiology and Cardiovascular Radiology and Intervention and Society
of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He has previously held faculty positions at the University of Pittsburgh School of
Medicine and MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine.
Dr. Amanullah has conducted extensive clinical research in noninvasive cardiology including myocardial perfusion SPECT imaging,
stress echocardiography and risk stratifications in unstable angina. He has authored more than 80 articles and abstracts appearing
in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Circulation, American Journal of Cardiology
and American Heart Journal.
Dr. Amanullah obtained his M.D from the Institute of Medicine in Bucharest, and his Ph.D from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm,
Sweden. He completed fellowship training in cardiology at Karolinska Institute at Stockholm South Hospital, Sweden and a noninvasive
cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.
