Imara R. Dissanayake, MD
Attending Physician, Division of Nephrology
Director, Home Dialysis Program
Dr. Dissanayake has a special interest in diabetes and hypertension and how these diseases affect the kidneys. She has conducted
research on bone loss resulting from the use of immunosuppressant medications following kidney transplantation.
Radi Zaki, MD
Section Chief, Division of Transplantation, Section of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant
Dr. Zaki is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in kidney transplantation, laparoscopic donor nephrectomy and vascular
access grafts. Dr. Zaki completed his transplant surgery fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He performs the surgery
necessary for the vascular access and the peritoneal catheters for dialysis patients.
Nida Quirong-Jones, RN, CNN
Program Coordinator, Home Dialysis Program
Ms. Quirong-Jones is a Certified Nephrology Nurse who oversees the daily operation of the program. She is a long-time employee,
having joined Albert Einstein Medical Center more than 30 years ago. Nida is an active member of the Keystone Chapter Executive
Board of the American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA).
Renee Johnson, RN, CNN
Certified Nephrology Nurse
Ms. Johnson is a long-time employee of Albert Einstein Medical Center, having joined the hospital in 1967. She started in
the Inpatient Dialysis Program in 1985 and joined the Home Dialysis Program in 1990. Ms. Johnson stays current on the newest
guidelines, medications and technology in nephrology.
