Neurosurgery

Radiosurgery Center

Einstein Radiosurgery Center is a collaborative partnership between the Division of Neurosurgery and the Department of Radiation Oncology. Here, experienced surgeons and radiologists use the latest techniques to deliver small, precisely targeted doses of radiation to benign and malignant tumors, while sparing surrounding tissue. This technology can also be used to treat aneurysms and trigeminal neuralgia. Radiosurgery allows patients to avoid open surgical procedures and can be used as follow-up treatment for residual or recurrent tumors.

Einstein Radiosurgery Center uses the X-Knife™ linear accelerator-based radiosurgery system. This system is the most popular radiosurgery system in the world and is unsurpassed in its ability to deliver state-of-the-art radiosurgery treatments in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner.
