
Eric A. Williams, MD

Trained in the treatment of spinal conditions, Eric A. Williams, MD, is proficient in spinal fusions, cervical, lumbar and
thoracic surgeries. He is skilled in the surgical treatment of spine disorders, such as scoliosis with a concentration in
adult and adolescent reconstruction for correction. Along with his surgical expertise, Dr. Williams also specializes in the
non-surgical management of spinal conditions and disorders.
Through his active involvement in research and the development of new surgical techniques, Dr. Williams is able to provide
the best care and most advanced treatments available to his patients. He has special interest in new surgical treatments for
disc conditions such as degenerative disc disease and bulging or herniated discs. Another area of his research focuses on
open and thorascopic surgical techniques to reduce the prevalence of perioperative complications of anterior spinal fusion
for patients with idiopathic scoliosis or Scheurmann’s kyphosis.
Dr. Williams earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, and completed an internship
and residency in orthopaedic surgery there as well. He also completed a fellowship at the Spine and Scoliosis Center in Towson,
Maryland.
