Using today’s most advanced surgical techniques, total joint surgeon John T. Williams Jr., MD, reconstructs and replaces hips and knees in adults. His expertise includes both primary and revision procedures. He also specializes in nonsurgical management of degenerative arthritic conditions of the hip and knee. Dr. Williams is actively involved in the research and development of new techniques and technologies for total hip and knee replacement. His comprehensive patient care program ranges from preoperative evaluation and management to postoperative rehabilitation and maintenance. Dr. Williams completed a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Joint Implant Surgeons, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio. After earning his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., he completed his internship in surgery at Washington Hospital Center and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Howard University Hospital.
