Care is provided in various settings, depending on individual needs:
-

Inpatient care is provided for persons requiring intensive services including medical management, nursing intervention and
multiple therapies. Our facility has 147 inpatient beds to provide care and a unit dedicated to amputee care.

Patients who no longer require 24-hour nursing care or medical supervision, but will benefit from intensive therapy, are appropriate
for this program. Participants receive multiple therapies throughout the day (9 a.m. to
4 p.m.) and return home in the evenings and on the weekends. Transportation is available upon request.
-
Day Treatment Program:
This programs offers three hours of intensive therapy from multiple therapists. It is for people who are medically stable
and do not require nursing care.
-
Outpatient Program:
This program allows patients to participate in individual therapy two to three times per week. Outpatient therapy is available
at our multiple locations in Olney, Northeast Philadelphia, Jenkintown, PA and Allentown, PA.
-
Transitional Program:
This program is for those people who no longer require acute care but are not ready to go home after an amputation. They usually
are not ready to participate in an aggressive inpatient rehabilitation program.

Physical medicine and rehabilitation consultation and management:
After completing their initial rehabilitation, people need lifelong counseling and care from physicians who specialize in
prosthetics and amputation care. Our physicians can meet all ongoing amputation and prosthetic management needs.
