The MossRehab Regional Amputee Center is unique in its special relationship with our onsite prosthetics laboratory, Allied Prosthetics and Orthotics. No other facility in the area has the capability to fabricate and modify prostheses on campus. This gives us the tremendous benefit of having a prosthetist limb maker available during all working hours for quick, convenient service.

It also allows the prosthetic maker to become part of the rehabilitation team. Our prosthetists work closely with the physicians and therapists to achieve the best results for our patients.

Each professional is able to teach and learn from one another. Consequently, the therapists at MossRehab are very knowledgeable about prosthetics, and the prosthetists understand how changes to the prosthesis truly affect a person's ability to function.
