Through better pre-amputation care, we reduce the need for amputation in those patients who suffer from diabetes and vascular disease.

The MossRehab Diabetic Foot and Wound Center has been developed to provide ongoing care for people who are at risk for amputation. We evaluate and treat people with diabetes who have "healthy feet," to monitor any changes or loss of sensation and provide foot care. This way, we can stop problems before they start.

In addition to treating healthy diabetic feet, we treat patients with non-healing leg ulcers and wounds, using a comprehensive team approach. The team includes a physician, podiatrist, physical therapist and a complement of other services available to us in our network.
